Katherine is a London-based self-employed architectural stone carver/sculptor, letter cutter and mason who has worked consistently for the last 13 years in this field. Having developed a love and talent for art and especially 3-dimensional work from a young age, Katherine qualified with an Art Foundation certificate and then went on to train to work with stone on the world-renowned stone masonry, carving and letter cutting course at Weymouth College, Dorset, UK, followed by a two-year carving apprenticeship at York Minster.

Katherine is based In London and spent four years there working as an employee of several major stonework companies. She then became self employed and set up her own business Worthington Stone Carving in 2004. In this capacity she has worked on many major and minor restorations projects in the UK and Australia encompassing a wide range of architectural styles as a subcontractor. She has also completed several original commissions in her own right and would like to develop this side of the business.
